Mother Charged With Felony Abuse After 2 Year Old Ingests Ecstacy

The two-year-old child of a registered nurse was airlifted to the hospital suffering from a hallucinogenic fit and seizures as a result of ingesting ecstasy.

The mother and her boyfriend were arrested. The boyfriend was released but mom of the year is in jail charged with felony abuse. She is being held on $500,000 bond and faces up to 6 years in prison if convicted. I say 6 years is not nearly long enough. Tie her tubes while she’s in jail too!

The little girl remained in the hospital today but her dad said that she is expected to recover without permanent damage and is now in good condition.

The mother apparently had the drug with her while she was on vacation and somehow the toddler got it and ate it. Police and firefighters were called to a vacation home where the woman, her boyfriend and the child were staying. Police say that the couple also appeared to be under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident.
