Identity Theft Prevention Tip

Do you get bombarded by credit card, loan and mortgage offers by snail mail? I did too until I realized that there is a way to opt-out of all (or most) of this snail mail spam.

One of my main concerns was that all of these offers could somehow be stolen from my mailbox or trash and be used to open credit accounts in my name, IDENTITY THEFT.

There is a free service that will let you out-out of pre-screened credit offers. I signed up several months ago and the amount of junk mail credit offers that I receive is now way less. Hopefully it will help you as well.
